Not major accidents but they have sustained enough damage that they have been taken off the road. But these are repairable salvage cars. Cars that can still get back on the road with a little tender loving care.
You will need some money after purchasing these vehicles. Like I said before they will need to be repaired. Repairing make take as little as replacing a bumper. Or it may be very extensive as repairing the frame and putting an engine back in place. Either way you should be a good deal with some of these reparable salvage cars.
In most cases it is normal to use second hand parts to make any repair viable, something the insurance assessors are not allowed to do, hence declaring the car uneconomical to repair and so the insurance claim was paid out and so the car became available on a repairable salvage auction. This is where problems can occur. There are an abundance of breaker yards throughout the UK and quiet a few online price search sites, that will attempt to locate those car parts for you, but unfortunately even though these breaker yards and full to the top with car parts, there are some items that are just too difficult to find.
